More character Designs

Here is another character design but this one i designed from another idea i was going to do, at the time i had changed my idea of my final outcome. My primary out come didn't change i was still going to animate to a selected piece of audio that comes out each month on the website '11secondclub', so all that was different was the month and that a new idea had to be come up with, but my principles stayed the same.

This month's audio (march) after hearing it i did come up with an idea of one man sitting alone in his cell (prisoner) acting out the dialogue from the audio, but the problem i discovered was that the character would be speaking the dialogue to calmly and there wouldn't be much movement throughout the scene and that's why after having some time to think about it i decided to go back to my original idea.

Storyboard Animatic

So here is the first drift of my scene, the images from my storyboard edited and placed together with the audio that I'll be animating to, as shown in this animatic.
Just a drift at the moment will come back to this or redo a better animatic showing a detailed background and move character development.

Practicing Facial Expressions 2 Attempt 2

Continuing with developing this character. I believe I'm beginning to get a feel for this character now and I'm liking the outcomes of my drawings now, still need some practice as you can tell not all of them look exactly the same which isn't good.
I have ticked the ones that i think keep a consistency to them.

Practicing Facial Expressions 2

Some more character designs,
Trying to come up with a style that suits my animation and matches the other characters, I found it quite tricky as you can tell from this image above the bodies looked like they were to manly and the head portraits were just wrong. So worked needed to be done so the plan is to practice on drawing the female body and also keep working on the look of this character too.

Practicing Facial Expressions

Here i have started with both some character designs for my animation and some emotional expressions.
These are just some rough designs on what one of the characters may look like and the style that Ill be using, i am pleased with some of the drawings but practice is still needed and practice I shall do.

Practicing face expressions

By looking through this art book is a great way to find excellent examples of good character designs and facial expression, exactly what i am aiming for at this stage of the project. It is good practice to draw as many different character expression as i can because the more i do the better i will become and it is needed for my video because I'll be animated mostly to a dialogue.
