Scene 4, test 4

Inbetweens added to the female character, now i just need to interact the second character and have him react to the action and make this bit come to life more.

Scene 2, test 3

I keep doing this re uploading the same since but with just take little bit extra,
just my way of showing my progress i suppose.
Key frames are at the end again and inbetweens are needed.

Effect of the background

This background is for scene's 2-3 and its going to pan left.

Boxes and arrow shows how exactly the pan is going to take effect, as it pans across the camera well zoom out slightly showing more background. As mentioned before the centre of the image is blown out like a fish eye effect but in reality the rooms wall is going straight down.

Scene 2, test 2

Since the last video update all the key frames to this scene so far and then also added some more to the end of it, I'm happy with the movement of the two characters it flaws quite well but i can't say the same for the lip syncing, even they the movement here seems to be covering up mouth partly from what you can see it's not a fantastic job, i need to put a lot of working into lip syncing it i want to get anywhere in the future.

Scene 2, test 1

The beginnings of scene two, i say that but they're are some video tests before this one (which are on the CD/DVD) but i have shown this one because I'm trying to get out of this habit of trying to animate anything from the get go, as you can see in this video towards the end its gets roughly drawn and key framed which is a good thing of course but that's what i haven't been doing from the start and what has led up to me not getting the final film finished on time.
So my future aims are to stop worrying about drawing each frame out and getting to look the best i can but to just plan thing out and start key framing the whole scene out to see if what I'm planning and not to waste time and redo it all ago if i didn't get the movements right.

Final scene 1 test fully coloured

Final produced piece for scene 1 fully coloured with background.
As it was said from the start this first scene was meant to be per trade as a first person perspective point from the female characters eyes, i know she doesn't show any of her own movement or eye blinking but i wasn't going for any of that only the view point.
As the male character approaches i have added shadow to him to show that he is in fact moving closer to something and that he is trying to achieve a goal.

Discussing The Backgrounds 2

Phoenix Wright - Ace Attorney Walk-through (Case 3: Part 8)
Time you need to go to to see what I'm on about: 5.57

After talking to Keanu with what i wanted to do with two of the scenes he mentioned this Phoenix Wright game and that it did a similar thing with its background, (above image) it works by tricking the eye with blurred areas and quick pans so it gives you the illusion of a 3 dimensional room and not just a single flat image.
With that said i told him i was going to have the female character walk away in scene 2 and i wanted the camera to pan after her to show you where shes walking off to. So  he believed that giving the middle image this image a kind of fish eye affect with a slight blur would like good (Final outcome bottom image).

Discussing The Backgrounds

Scene from spider-man 3, Restaurant.

Planning the backgrounds, due to complications I had fell behind on my work and was running short on time, i know we had the choice to ask the L5's to help and people used that to their advantage but i didn't. But know i didn't have an option and need help with coming up with the background design. So i posted in the facebook group if anybody was free to help out and lucky someone was, Keanu Jones.

From the beginning i had always planed for my animation to be set in a restaurant but know i wanted it to be set in a pose looking one too, the first thing that comes to mind was the scene out of spiderman 3 (as shown above) where Peter wanted to purpose to Mary-Jane, set in a nice pose french restaurant.

We both had a talk about it and exchanged quick doodles to get a feel on what the designs should look like, after discussing he went off and draw up the designs.

When he came back he came up with something along the lines of this (image two the right) which was great and would work really well, so what i needed now was different shots and angels of the room for each of my scenes. The below image is a front shot of the counter where the receptionist is or go if i add one in i don't know yet.
